A little less guesswork before China.
nihaonana brings practical China travel preparation into one place: getting online, setting up payments, choosing useful apps and deciding where to go.
Useful reading, then a practical next step
Start with a China guide, follow its sources and keep the preparation you need in your trip checklist. Your trip dates, custom tasks and saved guide references stay in this browser; there is no account or cross-device sync.
The payment checker answers a narrower question: what reviewed evidence says about a card network and a particular Alipay operation in mainland China. It does not access your bank account, verify a card or attempt a payment.
Nana is a character, not a credential
Nana is the illustrated companion you see throughout the site. Her friendly voice is a way to make preparation approachable, not a biography of a human travel expert or evidence that somebody personally tested every service.
We distinguish published provider statements, official guidance and editorial explanation from first-hand testing. A cited source is not a guarantee that a service will work for every traveler.
Clear about what we can—and cannot—tell you
Travel rules, app setup, mobile routing and payment acceptance can change. We show source-review dates and explain important conditions rather than treating broad network support as proof that a particular issuer or transaction will work.
These guides are not personalized legal, immigration or financial advice. Check current official requirements, provider terms and your own circumstances before relying on them. Sightseeing coverage may include Hong Kong and Macao; their entry, payment and connectivity arrangements differ from mainland China.
Sources before sales
The site currently has no affiliate purchase links. Provider names and examples help explain choices; they do not imply a partnership, endorsement or first-hand test. Commercial relationships, if introduced, must be disclosed where relevant and kept separate from the evidence behind a claim.
Read how we review for our source and freshness approach. Our contact page states the current availability of public contact channels, and our privacy notes explain what stays on your device and what a checker request sends.
